Politique de récupération des insignes
--------------------------------------
Otakuthon 2011 approche à grands pas : moins d'une semaine! À 
cause de l'énervement, il est souvent facile d'oublier certaines 
choses. Si vous vous êtes préinscrit, n'oubliez pas d'amenez 
avec vous :

1. Une pièce d'identité;
2. Une copie de votre fiche d'inscription
(https://yurika.otakuthon.com/reg/fr/index).

Veuillez vous assurer que le nom figurant dans notre système 
d'inscription soit votre vrai nom. Vous ne pourrez prendre 
possession de votre insigne dans le cas contraire. S'il y a 
erreur sur le nom, veuillez communiquer immédiatement à 
registration at otakuthon.com pour le faire corriger.

Chaque participant doit récupérer son propre insigne. L'insigne 
sera seulement donné à la personne qui lui est attitrée.

L'aire d'inscription, située à la salle 220c, ouvrira le:

* jeudi le 11 août 2011 dès 15 h (pour les pré-inscrits seulement)
* vendredi le 12 août 2011 dès 12 h

Le moment tant attendu est enfin arrivé ! L'horaire préliminaire 
de la programmation d'Otakuthon 2011 est maintenant sur notre 
site principal :

Inquiétudes au sujet du concert d'Akon le samedi
------------------------------------------------
Comme plusieurs auront remarqué, il y aura un autre événement le 
samedi d.Otakuthon au Palais des congrès, du côté opposé de 
l'édifice. Ceci a engendré plusieurs inquiétudes concernant la 
sécurité au sein de la communauté d'Otakuthon et, soyez rassuré, 
nous ne les prenons pas à la légère.

Nous avons discuté avec le personnel du Palais et nous avons été 
assurés que des mesures spéciales seront appliquées afin 
d.assurer la sécurité de nos participants. Entre autres, il y 
aura un minimum de 40 agents de sécurité et policiers sur les 
lieux en mesure préventive, samedi. Le service du volontariat 
offrira également un service d'escorte jusqu'à l'un de nos 
hôtels ou à un arrêt d'autobus à proximité, pour ceux qui ne se 
sentiront pas en sécurité. Ce service sera offert vendredi et 
samedi, dès 22h00. Plus d'information sera disponible sur place 
lors du festival.

Si quelque chose advenait à se passer, n'hésitez pas à alerter 
la sécurité et le personnel afin que la situation soit adresser 
le plus tôt possible.

Requêtes pour les interprètes
-----------------------------
Les participants souhaitant avoir un interprète doivent envoyer 
leur demande à interpretation at otakuthon.com ou se présenter à la 
table des interprètes pendant ses heures d'ouvertures au moins 
24 heures en avance. Exceptionnellement, les demandes 
ponctuelles seront acceptées vendredi seulement.

Badge Pickup Policy
-------------------
Otakuthon 2011 is coming up in less than a week!  With all the 
excitement, sometimes it's easy to forget things.  If you've 
pre-registered, don't forget to bring:

1. Piece of ID.
2. Your printed registration confirmation sheet
(https://yurika.otakuthon.com/reg/en/index).

Please make sure that the name in our registration system is 
your real name, as you will not be able to pick up your badge if 
it isn't.  If your name doesn't match, please contact 
registration at otakuthon.com immediately to correct it.

Each member must pick up his/her own badge in person.  Badges 
will not be distributed to anyone other than the registered 
individual.

Badge pickup will be opening up at registration in room 220c on:

* Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 3pm (for pre-registered only)
* Friday, August 12, 2011 at 12pm

Tentative Programming Schedule Posted!
--------------------------------------

It's the moment you've been waiting for! The tentative 
programming schedule has been posted up on the website :

Concerns about the Akon Concert on Saturday
-------------------------------------------
As some people have noticed, there will be another event taking 
place on the opposite side of the Palais des congrès on 
Otakuthon Saturday. This has created some security concerns 
amongst the Otakuthon community and we take this very seriously.

We have conveyed these issues and concerns to our Palais 
contacts and have been assured that they have taken special 
measures to ensure the safety of our attendees. There will be at 
least 40 security guards and the police on site during the other 
event on Saturday as a preventative measure.  The volunteers 
department will also be offering a walking service on Friday and 
Saturday after 10pm for people who are concerned about their 
safety while in transit to a nearby bus stop or convention 
hotel. More information will be available on site during the 
convention.

If anything does happen, please do not hesitate to notify 
security and staff so that we can address the issue as quickly 
as possible.

Interpreter Requests
--------------------
Attendees who would like to use the interpreter service must 
submit their requests at least 24 hours in advance either via 
email to interpretation at otakuthon.com or in person at the 
interpreter's desk during its operating hours.  Exceptions: We 
will accept last minute requests on Friday only.
