Le Festival est samedi prochain!
--------------------------------
Ça y est! On y est presque! Le jour J se rapproche à vue d'.il. Otakuthon 
2008 va se tenir au Palais des Congrès de Montréal durant fin de la 
semaine prochaine. Pour ceux qui ont raté la pré-inscription et pour ceux 
qui ne peuvent venir chercher leur insigne le vendredi 25 Juillet, 
l'inscription commencera dès 9 h samedi et dimanche. Le festival débutera 
officiellement à 10 h.

Liste de vérification pour les pré-inscrits

Ceux qui sont pré-inscrits et qui viendront chercher leur insigne, 
assurez-vous d'avoir en main les items suivants : 

- Une impression de votre fiche de pré-inscription 
(https://yurika.otakuthon.com/reg/main.pl/fr/) 
- Une carte d'identité avec votre photo dessus (ex. : carte d'étudiante, 
permis de conduire, carte d'assurance-maladie, etc.)

Les heures d'ouverture et consigne pour ceux détenant une passe d'accès 
prioritaire

L'inscription aura lieu dans la salle 517a. Ceux qui ont acheté une passe 
d'accès prioritaire doivent se présenter à la table se situant à droite de 
l'entrée de la salle. 

Les heures d'ouverture sont : 
Vendredi : 17 h à 20 h (pré-inscrits seulement)
Samedi : 9 h à 18 h
Dimanche : 9 h à 16 h

Les règlements du festival ont été modifiés

Étant donné qu'Otakuthon n'est plus organisé à l'Université de Concordia, 
plusieurs règles ont été modifiées. Veuillez prendre connaissances des 
nouveaux règlements du festival sur le site Internet d'Otakuthon :

Recherché : volontaires! 
------------------------
Chaque année, Otakuthon a un besoin criant de volontaires. La présence de 
ceux-ci n'est plus qu'assez afin que le festival puisse fonctionner comme 
sur des roulettes. Alors, si vous avez un peu de temps entre deux 
évènements ou deux panels, votre aide sera grandement appréciée. Pour vos 
efforts, une partie de votre prix d'entrée sera remboursé.

The Convention is NEXT SATURDAY!!

It's here! It's almost here! O-day is not so far away now. Otakuthon 2008 
will take place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal next weekend! For 
those who missed pre-registration and for those who can't pick up their 
badges on Friday July 25th, registration and badge pickup will start at 
9am on Saturday and Sunday. The convention will officially start at 10am. 

Pre-Registration Checklist... CHECK! 
------------------------------------
For those who pre-registered and need to pick up their badge, be sure to 
have the following items in hand:

- A printout of your pre-registration receipt 
(https://yurika.otakuthon.com/reg/main.pl/en/) 
- A piece of photo ID (ie: student card, driving license, medicare card, 
etc.) 

Registration Desk Open Hours and Special Procedure for Priority Access 
Pass' holders
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The registration desk will be in room 517a. In the case where you bought a 
Priority Access Pass, you will be able to pick up your badge at the table 
directly to the right of the room's entrance. 

The registration desk will be open for pre-registration badge pickup and 
door registration during the following times: 

Friday: 5:00pm - 8:00pm (pre-registration badge pickup only) 
Saturday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Convention Rules Updated, Please Read

Due to the new venue this year, several rules have been changed or 
updated. Please take a moment to review the convention rules posted on our

Wanted: Volunteers!
-------------------
Every year, Otakuthon is in need of volunteers. There will never be enough 
volunteers since a good convention can't run smoothly without the help of 
volunteers. So, if you have a little bit time to spare between two panels 
or two events you want to give a hand, the help will be greatly 
appreciated. For your efforts, you will get part of your membership 
reimbursed.
