<p>Otakuthon en partenariat avec le Festival international de films Fantasia, est fier de présenter une projection spéciale de <strong>Van Von Hunter</strong>, le dernier film de Tokyopop mettant en vedette Yuri Lowenthal (Naruto, Code Geass)! <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">À propos de Van Von Hunter</span></strong></p>
<p>C'est un film par des otaku pour les otaku qui suit les méaventures de Van Von Hunter, qui se retrouve sans emploi après avoir vaincu toutes les forces du mal dans sonde monde mystique, Dikay. Pourra-t-il survivre sur Terre? Apprenez-le dans ce documenteur ou il tentera de trouvez sa place dans l'industrie du film Hollywoodienne, à une convention d'animé à New York, en tant que reporter culturel au Japon et comme sauveur du monde!</p>
<p>Yuri Lowenthal sera de la partie pour présenter le film accompagné du président de Tokyopop, Stu Levy et ils seront disponibles pour répondre à vos questions après le film.</p>

<p><strong></strong>Yuri Lowenthal, vedette de Van Von Hunter, et sa collègue Tara Platt animeront un atelier de doublage GRATUIT intitulé <strong>"VOICE OVER, VOICE ACTOR: YURI LOWENTHAL & TARA PLATT"</strong>! Ils parlerontde leur carrières dans le domaine du doublage pour ceux qui s'intéresse a ce domaine. De leur débuts modestes jusqu'à leur popularité présente dans des jeux vidéos et des animé. Encore mieux, c'est un événement GRATUIT qui se tiendra <strong>dimanche le 18 juillet à 15:00 dans l'édifice EV de l'Université Concordia, 1515 Ste-Catherine ouest, Amphithéâtre EV-01-615</strong>. <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What is Van Von Hunter?</span></strong></p>
<p>This is a movie by otaku for otaku, following the misadventures of Van Von Hunter, an evil vanquisher who finds himself suddenly unemployed after having defeated all the evil in his mystical homeland, Dikay. Can he survive in our world? Find out in this mockumentary as he tries to find a place for himself here in the Hollywood movie business, at an anime convention in New York, and as a cultural reporter in Japan... and finally, as the saviour of the world itself!</p>
<p>Star Yuri Lowenthal will be in attendance to present the movie, as will Tokyopop founder and president Stu Levy, and will be there to present a Q&A after the movie.</p>

This dynamic duo will be giving a discussion about their voice acting careers for those interested in that field, from two people who started from scratch and are now two of the most popular anime and video game voice actors around! And even better, it's a FREE event! It will be held on <strong>Sunday July 18th at 3 pm in Concordia University's EV building, 1515 Ste-Catherine W, Amphitheatre EV-01-615</strong>.
