Vous avez bien lu! Pour les rares personnes qui ont peur des boîtes aux lettres, pour ceux qui ne veulent pas tuer des arbres et pour ceux qui n'ont vraiment pas confiance en Internet, vous pouvez payer votre pré-inscription en argent comptant. Pour ce faire, vous n'avez qu'à sélectionner l'option « En personne » dans la section d'option de paiement du formulaire d'inscription puis, <b>le 17 mai 2008 entre 15 h et 20 h</b>, rendez-vous au bureau de <a href="http://otaku.concordia.ca">Otaku Anime of Concordia University</a> (2020, MacKay pièce P-106). Assurez-vous d'avoir une copie de votre fiche d'inscription en main. <BR>

Petit rappel aux étudiants travaillants qui n'ont que leurs examens en tête et aussi aux personnes qui ont la mémoire courte : la pré-inscription à 30 $ se termine bientôt, soit le <b>23 mai 2008</b>. Après cette date, le prix sera de 40 $.<BR>

<BR>Comme vous pouvez le constater, il s'agit d'un magnifique T-shirt blanc sur lequel est imprimé la mascotte d'Otakuthon et il vient en plusieurs grandeurs. Cette année, vous n'aurez donc pas à vous demander s'il vous ira ou non. Ce superbe T-shirt peut seulement être commandé lors de votre pré-inscription. Si vous êtes déjà inscrits, vous pouvez modifier votre fiche d'inscription et <b>vous devez payez la différence avant le 16 juin 2008.</b> <BR>

<STRONG>Nouvel événement : jeu d'échec en cosplay! </STRONG><BR><BR>
Échec et mat! Auriez-vous deviné qu'un tel événement ait lieu? Nouveauté cette année, il s'agit ici d'une chaude lutte de grands cerveaux où les cosplayeurs sont.des pièces d'échec. Vous avez bien lu! Il s'agit d'un jeu d'échec à l'échelle humaine. Le thème cette année : « Le bien contre le mal ». À vos costumes! Assurez-vous de surveillez le site Internet pour plus d'informations et pour savoir comment participer à ce jeu.<BR>

<STRONG>Le populaire concours d'AMV est de retour! </STRONG><BR><BR>
Ce concours populaire est de retour pour une seconde année. Vous pouvez envoyer dès maintenant vos AMV afin d'entrer dans la compétition. Toutes les vidéos seront présentées le samedi 25 juillet afin de déterminer le prix du public. Vous avez jusqu'au <b>6 juillet 2008</b> pour soumettre vos vidéos.<BR>

Voici un concours d'AMV légèrement différent! Toutes les vidéos doivent être d'une durée de 30 secondes ou moins et elles seront toutes compilées en une seule vidéo. Cet amalgame de vidéos sera présenté durant le festival. De plus, un prix sera remis pour les trois meilleurs AMV. Vous avez jusqu'au <b>6 juillet 2008</b> pour soumettre vos vidéos. <BR>

That's right! For the rare one who fears the mailbox, for the few ones who don't want to kill trees and for the rest who strongly distrust the Internet, you can directly pay your pre-registration in cash. All you have to do is select the "In Person" payment option in your registration account and go to the <a href="http://otaku.concordia.ca">Otaku Anime of Concordia University</a> office (2020 MacKay room P-106) with a copy of the registration confirmation on <B>May 17, 2008 @ 3:00pm to 8:00pm</B>.<BR>

A little reminder for all the hardworking students who only have exams in their mind and for all the forgetful persons, the early pre-registration rate at 30$ will be ending soon on <B>May 23rd, 2008</B>. After this date, the rate will return to 40$.<BR>

As you can see, it is a magnificent white T-shirt with Otakuthon's mascot and comes into several different sizes. Hopefully, this year, you won't wonder if your head will fit in it. This superb T-shirt can only be ordered during pre-registration. If you already pre-registered, you can modify your registration account, <B>but you must pay everything before June 16th, 2008</B>. <BR>

<STRONG>New Event: The Cosplay Chess! </STRONG><BR><BR>
Checkmate! Did you see that coming on the event list? This new event will be a heat battle of brain and wits between cosplayers... as the chess pieces. You read it right! This will be a human-size chess game. The theme for this year will be Good versus Evil. So prepare your costumes and be sure to check the website for more instructions and on how to participate. <BR>

<STRONG>The Popular AMV Contest Is Back Again! </STRONG><BR><BR>
Back for its second year, the popular AMV Contest is now accepting AMV submissions for competition. All entries will be screened on Saturday July 25th, 2008 for the "People's Choice" award. The deadline for the submissions is <B>Sunday July 6, 2008</B>.<BR>

Here comes the new and slightly different AMV competition! All entries will be less than 30 sec. and will be compiled into a long feature video. This video will be screened during the convention and there will be a prize for the top 3 AMV. All AMV shorts for the competition must be submitted by <B>Sunday July 6, 2008</B>. <BR>
